There's a story of the traveler who comes
to a new city and is greeted at the gate. The traveler asks,
"What are the people like in your city?"
The gatekeeper replies, "What are the
people like in the city you left?"
Traveler: "The people there are all selfish
and mean and are only for themselves."
Gatekeeper: "And that is the kind of
people you will find here as well."
The traveler moved on, and soon another traveler
approaches the Gatekeeper and asks, "What are the people
like in your city?"
Gatekeeper: "Tell me about the people
in the city that you have left."
Traveler: "Well, the people are kind
and giving and make the very best kind of friends."
Gatekeeper: "And those are the kind of
people you will find in this city as well."
It's a law of Life: We pretty much
get what we give. So, if you want a lot, give a lot. |
