Before me she arrived
Twelve minutes to be exact
My twin, my Beloved
other half
Springing from our mother's womb
She chose the path of silence
A world without sound
No accident, this course she chose
This rite of passage between the darkness and the Light
Her Soul knew all
along
Her gift of inner sight
She chose this path of deafness
So that I might sing and write
She chose this utter stillness
So that she and I could dance in the Light
She chose this Soul

sing
